Skills Coaching

We have two experienced riders and skills coaches, Darryn Stow and Jessi Nixon. Both have a passion for riding and people. They have developed the skills over the years and ready to share it with all riders, from children learning to ride on two wheels, to experienced riders looking to develop the correct technique to be safer and faster on the trails.

Darryn Stow started racing BMX at the age of 3 years old and 30 something years later still has the same passion for riding. He has been coaching and sharing that passion for the last 12 years with all riders. He has South African colours for Downhill racing, been SA BMX champ, SA Number 1 Sub Vet Cross Country Champ and completed the Cape Epic. Throughout his riding, skills have been his weapon. He loves working with all ages and skills level.

Jessi has grown up in a Mountain Bike family. Daughter of Chris Nixon, numerous South African Mountain Bike Champ. Over the years she developed her own skills and has been coaching for the past 4 years. She has raced BMX and Cross Country growing up and now focusses on  downhill and enduro races.  She assists kids learning to ride from balance bikes to pedal bikes and advanced riders improve technique and speed.

Both Darryn and Jessi have been skilled up with Chris Nixon. Chris is a qualified UCI Commissionaire and has a level one UCI coaching course. All our coaches focus on the correct basic principals which encourages riders to get comfortable on a bike and ultimately go faster safer and have more fun.
